Colosseum
I have decided to model a roman Colosseum in Houdini. This will be the first part of my small project. I will them do some particle interactions using the Colosseum. This is just a progress status report although i do have some question I would like to ask.
My first blog post
I have decided to do a little project in Houdini. I know that my Houdini skills are not up to par, and that I haven't been able to become truly proficient in it because of a lack of practice. Whenever I look at my former classmates, all I feel is inferiority. Inferiority because I am unable to produce work as good as them. Some of my peers went to Side Fx Los Angeles for a 3 month Houdini boot-camp. I saw their demo reels on Thursday and it made me feel worse about myself. But then, it hit me....... WHO CARES? Visual effects is about one's own passion about it, not about grades or how good a g.p.a you get. It's about learning on your own to produce good works of art. Hence, I have decided. I will work on my own little project for Fusion. I believe I can achieve it. Just watch me.
